Work together with a local association who´s encouraging communities living inside the National Parks near Rurrenabaque, northeast of Bolivia to work in ecological productive activities such as management of local natural resources (gardens, medicinal plants, fruits, wood), handcrafts, and making of produce such as wine and jam. While seeking for development alternatives they have also turned to tourism.

Trek through the Andes while learning about local culture

Trek through the mystical Andean landscapes, surrounded by an abundance of wildlife such as Alpacas, llamas, vicuñas, and condors, stopping along the way to meet local people from the Aymara and Quechua cultures, and staying in their rural villages. This is a community-run project, developed and operated by the indigenous people with the aim to promote sustainable development and fair trade.

Tourism development in Lake Titicaca

Stay with an Aymará community near Copacabana and learn about their day to day activities and way of life through homestays while helping them developed a small tourism project building floating islands made of reed. Project work: help local families work on reed islands to receive tourism.
